Black & White Puff Pastry with Apple

Baked Black & White in puff pastry is the ultimate savory cheese appetizer. Perfect for a quick family snack and fancy enough for a weekend party or special event.

The flaky golden puff pastry, sweet palm sugar, and the tart flavor of the apple pair perfectly with the extra melty black & white cheese. It’s satisfying and pleasing to the taste buds.


Ingredients:

• 1 sheet Puff Pastry

• Flour

• 20 gr Black & White

• 1 Egg Yolk

• 30 gr Apple

• 1 tbsp Palm Sugar

• Powdered Sugar as a topping


Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.

2. Take 1 sheet of puff pastry and coat it with flour.

3. Place black & white cheese & apple slices on half of the puff pastry sheet.

4. Fold the cake to cover. Press with a fork to seal.

5. Place on a baking sheet.

6. Whisk the egg yolks in a small bowl.

7. Brush with egg yolk mixture.

8. Bake for 15 minutes or until cookies are golden brown. Let stand for 20 minutes before serving.

9. Garnish with powdered sugar and fresh veggies or edible flowers. Enjoy!
